I know I already reblogged this eariler, but I’m doing so again because I really really want ya’ll to to watch this video—especially if you’re white. The next time you have any kind of inkling that People of Color fabricate or exaggerate their experiences of being targeted for humiliation and violence simply for existing, the next time you hear someone suggest that we must be doing something to bring it on ourselves, I want you to remember this video.

This is such an awful thing. Everybody should watch this video, especially New Yorkers and ESPECIALLY white New Yorkers.

Saw this a few days ago, definitely feel the need to reblog this. Everyone should watch this.

It’s things like these that make me want to punch someone, scream, cry,  protest everything, or just give up.

Why are people so god damn awful? This is not acceptable in any way. People need to watch this. This can’t be a secret. People need to not only lose jobs over this, but go to jail. Being a police officer should no longer be a “get out of jail” free card. They’re jobs should be to protect people. Not hurt them. What has happened here should not be tolerated in any way.

Somebody needs to send Ann coulter this link because just this past friday she was on Real time with Bill Maher saying racism was over with the civil rights movement. Now if police officers are stopping people of color at an alarming rate in New York with no evidence to show that has been beneficial to keeping the city safe then I’m going to call major delusional bullshit on that comment. A matter of fact they are literally stopping more people of color than actually live in NYC. Which means they are stopping them multiple times.
