- What was interpreted: White people shouldn't cosplay.
- What was actually said: White people, you can cosplay whomever you want, but if the character is brown, DON'T darken yourselves for the cosplay.
- What was interpreted: White people shouldn't cosplay.
- What was actually said: White people, if you're so pressed to have your skin match the character in cosplay, then cosplay one of the countless pale characters that are out there already, instead of picking one of the FEW brown characters and then darkening yourselves.
